Ethoxylates, mainly include AEO, APEO, MPEG, etc., are widely used in the industries closely related to people's daily lives, such as household chemicals, textile & dyeing, construction, etc. With the continuous urbanization process and improvement of people's living standards, China's ethoxylate industry has developed fast in the past decade with slight changes in product structure. Besides, China imports large volume of ethoxylates every year but export little due to higher prices of homemade products, which partly restrains the domestic production.

As the main raw material of ethoxylate, EO supply is usually insufficient in China, especially when the market of glycol, the major downstream product of EO, performs well. What are the interrelationships among production of EO, glycol and ethoxylate? How Chinese ethoxylate manufacturers cope with the insufficient EO supply when EO is inconvenient for long distance transportation? You will find the answers in this report, which also shows the supply situation of other raw materials of ethoxylate such as fatty alcohol, fatty acid etc.

Among all the ethoxylates, AEO has constituted the largest output share. However, its growth rate has begun to slow down with the relatively steady demand. As the second largest ethoxylate in China, APEO output has been decreasing in recent years due to the government's ban on its application in certain downstream products. Meanwhile, some other products like MPEG, fatty amine ethoxylate, etc. have developed fast thanks to the increasing demand and less intense market competition.

Facing the current sluggish market, large-scale manufacturers and small manufacturers usually adopt different strategies to ride over the crisis, what are their key strategies?

Attributed to fast developing downstream industries, ethoxylate consumption has been growing fast in the past few years in China. The application situation in some industries is rather complicated. This report will uncover the detailed application by major ethoxylate and main downstream industry.

In addition, you can also find the answers to the following questions:
