Along with the development of liquid crystal display, all the LCD materials including LCD monomer and chemicals for LCD monomer production had witnessed a great expansion in the past decade. China is the most important country of LCD monomer, which makes it the largest market for upstream chemicals including CDO and CDO ketal. How large is the market size of CDO and CDO ketal in China? Attributed to its mature chemical environment and lower production cost, China is also the most important production country of many fine chemicals including CDO and CDO ketal. What is the current production situation of these two chemicals in China? Despite LCD's universalness, the great dependce of CDO and CDO ketal on liquid crystal monomer and multiple subsitudes are threats for CDO and CDO ketal.
