Abstracts

The aim of this report is to provide basic understanding to the Chinese PDM. This report has discussed PDM in China from aspects of production, producers,consumption and production technology. Besides, the active manufacturers are also listed. There are 9 active PDM manufacturers in China. Chinese PDM production is mainly located in East China including Shanghai, Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province.

The production in these areas accounts for 50% of China’s total PDM capacity and 68% of the total output.

PDM can be applied in general rubber, special rubber, and rubber-plastic products acting as vulcanizing agent, antiscroching agent and tackifier.

Vulcanizing agent is the largest consumption field.
