In terms of market dynamics, on June 9, 2021, Zhejiang Wynca announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huapont and Nutrichem and agreed to establish strategic partnerships in agrochemical and other aspects with Nutrichem as platform. In end-June, the prices of most fungicides in China remained stable, with some of them fluctuated relatively significantly.

In terms of company dynamics, Gansu Qipeng plans to launch a 20,130 t/a high-efficiency, low-toxicity, low-residue and environmental-friendly pesticide project. Hebei Guanlong intends to build a large-scale agricultural fungicide production base in Inner Mongolia and form production capacities including 5,000 t/a captan TC, 1,000 t/a dimethomorph TC, 1,000 t/a carbendazim TC, 1,000 t/a thiophanate-methyl TC and 600 t/a benomyl TC. Shandong Xinlong intends to form the production capacities of 600 t/af chlorfenapyr and 200 t/a flusilazole. On June 4, the Jianchang Branch of Huludao City Ecological and Environment Bureau issued the environmental impact assessment report of Huludao Lingyun's 1,000 t/a thiamethoxam, 900 t/a dinotefuran and 300 t/a pyraclostrobin project.

In terms of registration, at the end of May, the ICAMA announced the fifth list of pesticide products to be approved for registration in 2021. 34 fungicides are on the list, among which 3 are antibiotic fungicides.
