Fructose corn syrup is also named as fructose corn syrup (FCS), high fructose syrup (HFS), is syrup. Fructose corn syrup is a transparent liquid sweetener, whose main contents include glucose, fructose, a little of maltose and oligosaccharide.

At present four producing & processing bases in China have been formed, including North China, Central China, East China and South China.

The domestic production capacity has already surpassed the market demand. However, there is still a large amount of import every year. It is because the FCS produced by current processing technology in China can’t reach the requirement of the customers.

Now the beverage industry is the biggest application industry of FCS in China. Meanwhile, though there are some application problems for FCS in China now, China's future market of FCS is still large.
