The lithium battery energy management system is a supervisory control and optimization platform deployed for stationary lithium-ion energy storage stations, industrial and commercial energy storage facilities, or microgrids. Utilizing edge controllers, industrial PCs or PLCs, communication gateways, HMIs, and local or cloud-based software, the system collects data from the BMS, PCS, electricity meters, fire protection and thermal management systems, loads, and renewable energy sources. Based on factors such as electricity prices, load and renewable energy forecasts, grid dispatch commands, and battery safety limits, it generates control commands for charging/discharging as well as active and reactive power regulation. These capabilities enable functions such as peak shaving and valley filling, frequency regulation, energy arbitrage, backup power supply, solar-plus-storage coordination, microgrid operation, and multi-site coordinated management.
