This helps reduce bulging, deformation and uneven stress distribution, while improving formation consistency, dimensional stability and mass-production yield.

The upstream supply chain mainly includes aluminum alloy, stainless steel, engineering plastic, insulating material, spring, air bladder, sealing component, guide part, fastener, sensor and precision-machined component. High-end product may also involve hydraulic, pneumatic, servo-control and pressure-detection module, requiring high standards in structural strength, heat resistance, insulation performance, dimensional accuracy and service life. Midstream participants mainly include lithium battery tooling and fixture manufacturer, formation and grading equipment supplier, automation line integrator, and precision injection molding or machining company. Downstream demand comes primarily from power battery and energy storage battery manufacturer.
