A power line ferrite bead is a passive electronic component made from ferrite magnetic materials, typically in chip (SMD) or ring-shaped form, installed on power lines to suppress high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI). The upstream sector mainly includes raw material suppliers, such as manufacturers of ferrite powder, magnetic core materials, and encapsulating plastic parts. These materials provide the basic raw materials for the manufacture of ferrite beads. The midstream sector comprises ferrite bead manufacturers and packaging companies, including producers of surface-mount, toroidal, and wire-wound ferrite beads.
