Non-contact solutions use induction-based detection to determine phase sequence, reducing direct contact with exposed conductors and improving operational efficiency and safety during inspections. For applications requiring more detailed measurements, handheld phase-angle meters combined with clamp sensors can measure phase angle between phases or between voltage and current, while also reporting power-related parameters; these are commonly used for relay/protection verification, metering wiring checks, and distribution-system troubleshooting.
