Magnetic rotational speed sensor is a kind of non-contact speed measuring device, its working principle is based on electromagnetic induction or magnetoresistance effect, the core part usually contains a permanent magnet and an induction coil or magnetosensitive element, when the teeth of ferromagnetic gear or the protrusion on the rotating shaft approach and sweep over the end surface of the sensor, the magnetoresistance or magnetic field distribution of the magnetic circuit will be changed periodically, so as to induce alternating voltage pulses in the coil or generate electrical signal changes in the magnetosensitive element. This sensor has a simple structure, no external power supply, strong anti-oil dust ability and high reliability.
