A slit valve is a high-vacuum isolation/transfer valve mounted on a rectangular transfer opening in semiconductor, display, PV, and vacuum-coating equipment. Typical designs use aluminum or stainless bodies, pneumatic or electric actuation, elastomer or higher-grade seals, and are engineered around particle control, cycle life (often ~0.2M to 3M cycles), serviceability, and corrosion resistance. The direct customers are usually OEM toolmakers rather than fabs themselves; end demand comes from logic, memory, power semiconductor, advanced packaging, display, and thin-film solar production lines. This product should be treated as a subset of semiconductor vacuum valves / vacuum transfer valves and should exclude general angle valves, pendulum valves, pump isolation valves, gas-line valves, standalone actuators, and seals. ASP is highly dispersed and materially above general industrial valves, depending on aperture size, body material, actuation, leak-rate specification, and corrosion/plasma compatibility; gross margin is typically above general industrial valves as well.

Slit valves are core sealing and isolation components in high-end fields such as semiconductor and panel manufacturing. They are mainly used for precise opening and closing of vacuum chambers and transmission channels. With the advantages of strong sealing, fast switching speed and good corrosion resistance, they are suitable for clean and high-precision working conditions such as chip manufacturing and display panel production, and are an important support for the intelligent and refined development of the global high-end manufacturing industry.
