Their supply chain begins with upstream material providers of refractory metals (W, Mo, Ta), doped semiconductors, and ceramic wafers; moves to midstream fabrication specialists using thin-film deposition (ALD, PVD, CVD), nanoimprint lithography, e-beam/DUV lithography, and etching to form angle-dependent optical stacks; and ends with downstream integrators that package the emitters into burners, IR sources, TPV modules, sensing heads, and defense or aerospace subsystems, typically sold as functional components rather than standalone consumer products.
