Air-cooled charging connectors, standalone vehicle inlets, complete charging stations, independent cooling units, and liquid-cooling quick couplings are excluded. Liquid cooling enables high charging current while maintaining a smaller and more manageable cable structure.

The midstream includes connector design, cable processing, cooling-channel integration, contact assembly, molding, sealing, electrical testing, thermal testing, leakage testing, and durability verification. The downstream mainly covers passenger electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, off-highway vehicles, and electric marine transportation.

Future development will focus on higher continuous current, megawatt charging, multi-standard compatibility, lighter cables, improved coolant sealing, replaceable contacts, real-time temperature monitoring, coolant-flow monitoring, and easier maintenance.
