The upstream sector primarily encompasses nuclear-grade carbon steel, stainless steel, heavy plates, castings and forgings, shielding steel, lead-based or composite shielding materials, radiation-resistant seals, gear reducers, motors, brakes, bearings, fans, valves, rails, sensors, limit switches, encoders, PLCs/safety control systems, cables, nuclear-grade electrical cabinets, and quality traceability documentation systems. The midstream sector involves system design, structural strength calculations, seismic analysis, radiation shielding calculations, thermal-hydraulic analysis, the design of hoisting and positioning systems, welding and fabrication, machining, final assembly, factory acceptance testing, cold/hot commissioning, and on-site integrated testing; core enterprises typically require expertise in nuclear power hoisting equipment, nuclear-grade mechanical manufacturing, automatic control, and nuclear safety quality assurance.
