In February 2013 Crédit Agricole, owner of Emporiki Bank, sold it to Alpha Bank. Emporiki Bank is thus a fully-owned subsidiary of Alpha Bank. The full organisational integration is set to take place in 2014, and the complete operational integration will follow, whereby the two banks will operate as a single entity.
