It serves as the "blood vessels" and "nerves" for underground wireless communication, personnel and equipment positioning, monitoring, and emergency communication and rescue support. The upstream of the industry chain includes copper/copper-clad aluminum conductors, foamed dielectric and sheath materials, metal outer conductor strips (corrugated copper tubes/braided shielding, etc.), slotting/perforation and cabling equipment, connectors/couplers/terminal devices and installation accessories; the midstream involves leaky cable manufacturing (coupling loss/attenuation consistency control, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and flame retardancy, quality inspection and factory calibration) and system delivery with line amplifiers, distributors/power dividers and combiners, head-end radio frequency sources/base stations, network management and testing and acceptance; the downstream involves coal mine safety and intelligent transformation operation and maintenance units. Gross profit margin is approximately 15%–35%.
