These membranes combine the electronic insulation and mechanical isolation of traditional separators with the ion conduction capability of solid-state electrolytes, stabilizing the interface between electrodes and separators and enabling rapid lithium-ion transport. They are mainly applied in semi-solid lithium batteries, solid-state lithium batteries, and high-safety liquid lithium batteries.
