Odevixibat (brand name Bylvay), as the first oral IBAT inhibitor, is primarily used for the treatment of rare cholestatic liver diseases such as progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC), and is positioned within the rapidly growing rare disease therapeutics market.
