Upstream inputs mainly include precision centrifuge motors, open or sealed cytology rotors, sample chambers, filter cards, slide clips, sealed lids, control boards, sensors, molded plastic consumables, metal structures and safety interlock components. Downstream customers include hospital pathology departments, clinical laboratories, cytology laboratories, independent clinical laboratories, research institutes and veterinary diagnostic laboratories. On an ex-factory basis, global nominal capacity in 2025 is estimated at about 10,200 units, with actual sales volume of approximately 7,360 units and a blended average ex-factory price of around USD 12,800 per unit. Industry gross margin is generally estimated at 35%?52%.

The current cytocentrifuge market is a small but stable segment within professional laboratory equipment, with demand mainly coming from cytology, clinical laboratories, body fluid cytology and research sample preparation. Large hospitals, independent clinical laboratories and regional pathology centers usually focus on smear consistency, cell recovery, biosafety and stable consumable supply, and therefore tend to choose established European or U.S. brands with proven installed bases.
