In practical products, it is typically based on flat or curved boron carbide ceramic armor components and combined with UHMWPE, aramid fiber, glass fiber, metallic backing plates, or resin layers to form protective structures.

Its upstream materials mainly include boron carbide powder, sintering additives, ceramic forming auxiliaries, composite backing materials, and adhesive resins. The midstream segment consists of boron carbide ceramic armor components and composite armor assemblies manufactured through hot pressing sintering, pressureless sintering, reaction sintering, and other processes. Downstream applications mainly include individual protective armor, vehicle and equipment armor, aerospace protection, naval and coastal defense, specialized civilian security, and other fields. With increasing demand for lightweight, high-strength ballistic protection materials in military and police protective equipment, special vehicles, key aircraft protection areas, and high-end civilian security scenarios, the application share of Boron Carbide Armor Material in the high-end protection market is expected to further increase.
