Abstracts

This report examines and compares textile production costs in the spinning, texturing, weaving and knitting sectors in eight countries -- namely Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Italy, South Korea, Turkey and the USA. Costs examined include raw material and manufacturing costs, as well as the costs of producing ring spun yarn, rotor spun yarn, textured yarn, and woven and knitted fabric made from each of these yarn types.
