Apparel Specialist Retailers in Finland
Apparel specialist retailers grew by 3% in current value terms in 2012 to reach sales of €1.8 billion. This growth rate was similar to that of the previous year but stronger than the decline of 2% in 2009 when the recession took its toll on the channel. Due to heavy competition, in 2012 many stores updated their concepts and improved their store layouts in order to attract consumers. Growth was also driven by both fashion collections and budget brands.
