Laser protective clothing refers to wearable personal protective apparel designed to reduce the risk of skin, torso, limb and hand exposure to laser radiation and related thermal hazards in high-power laser environments. The product category typically includes laser-resistant jackets, trousers, aprons, gloves, gaiters, coveralls and localized textile protection components made from multilayer laser-shielding fabrics, aramid or flame-retardant substrates, anti-static outer layers, thermal insulation layers, reflective or absorptive coatings and reinforced sewing structures. Key technical parameters include applicable wavelength range, irradiance or power density, exposure duration, penetration resistance, flame resistance, comfort, washability, cleanroom compatibility and ergonomic fit. This report focuses on professional laser protective apparel used in industrial laser welding, laser cleaning, laser cutting, laser hardening, laser ablation, Class 3B/4 laser laboratories, semiconductor and optoelectronic cleanroom operations.
