In Canada, its major product categories are ready-to-eat cereals, shelf stable and frozen vegetables, dry dinners, refrigerated and frozen dough products, dessert and baking mixes, frozen pizza snacks, and grain, fruit, and savory snacks. In markets outside the United States and Canada, its major product categories include super-premium ice cream and frozen desserts, grain snacks, shelf stable and frozen vegetables, refrigerated and frozen dough products, and dry dinners. In addition, the company sells ready-to-eat cereals through its Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) joint venture.

Nestle similarly licenses certain of its trademarks to CPW, including the Nestle and Uncle Tobys trademarks. The company owns the Häagen-Dazs trademark and has the right to use the trademark outside of the United States and Canada. Nestle has a royalty-free license to use the Häagen-Dazs trademark in the United States and Canada on ice cream and other frozen dessert products. The company also licenses this trademark to its Häagen-Dazs Japan, Inc. (HDJ) joint venture. The J. M.
