In March 2012, the Venezuelan government approved a new Law of Costs and Fair Prices (Ley de Costos y Precios Justos) which regulates and equalises the retail price of nectars, juice drinks and reconstituted 100% juices packaged in Tetra Pak packaging. Under this regulation, nectars and reconstituted 100% juices have the same retail price regardless of flavour and product characteristics. As seen in other regulated categories of consumption goods, the setting of a unique retail selling price.
