High Purity Milled Carbon Fiber is a fine, short-fiber carbon material produced from carbon fiber feedstock and supplied in a milled form with controlled impurity level, ash content, sizing residue, moisture and foreign-particle contamination.

The upstream raw materials of High Purity Milled Carbon Fiber mainly include high-quality PAN-based carbon fiber, pitch-based carbon fiber, selected chopped carbon fiber, off-spec carbon fiber with controllable impurity levels, clean production scrap, prepreg scrap after controlled treatment, and qualified recycled carbon fiber. PAN-based carbon fiber is the mainstream feedstock because of its mature supply base and balanced mechanical properties, while pitch-based carbon fiber is more often selected for products requiring higher thermal conductivity or special functional performance. Downstream, High Purity Milled Carbon Fiber is mainly used in high-performance engineering plastics, thermoset molding compounds, conductive and antistatic compounds, EMI shielding materials, brake and clutch friction materials, coatings, adhesives, sealants, electrical housings, sliding wear-resistant parts, specialty carbon composites and selected cement-based or graphite-based systems.

On the demand side, electrical and electronic materials, high-performance engineering plastics, conductive and antistatic compounds, friction materials and industrial wear-resistant components are the main growth drivers. Applications such as electric vehicle components, electrical connectors, sensor housings, sliding industrial parts and lightweight brake materials require better conductivity, wear resistance, dimensional stability and reliability.
