Carbon fiber thermal pad is a kind of thermal conductive gasket with thermal conductive carbon fiber as the main raw material. It is used between heating components and radiator. By filling the air between the two gaps, the heat of electronic equipment can be accelerated to export, thus ensuring the performance and life of electronic products. Thermal conductive carbon fiber is a type of high thermal conductive carbon fiber material with good mechanical properties and excellent thermal and radiation heat dissipation capabilities. The fibrous high thermal conductive carbon powder made from this carbon fiber itself is fibrous and can be designed with thermal conductivity orientation, which is the biggest difference and advantage from previous thermal conductive materials. Carbon fiber thermal pad is a new generation of high-performance thermal interface material developed for high-power electronic devices and high-density heat dissipation structures. The product is constructed with a carbon fiber oriented structure to create an efficient thermal conduction channel, which can achieve rapid heat transfer between the heat source and the heat sink. It also has good flexibility, compression resilience, surface adhesion, and assembly adaptability. It can effectively fill the micro gaps on the surface of the device, reduce contact thermal resistance, improve system heat dissipation efficiency, and help electronic devices maintain stable performance under high load, high temperature rise, and long-term operating conditions.

In terms of applications, carbon fiber thermal pads are widely used in scenarios such as CPUs, GPUs, AI acceleration chips, ASIC chips, power modules, 5G communication modules, optical modules, vehicle domain controllers, inverters, battery management systems, server motherboards, and industrial power supplies. With the rapid development of AI computing devices, data centers, new energy vehicles, communication base stations, and high-power electronic systems, the requirements for thermal conductivity materials in terminal products are upgrading from ordinary gap filling and basic thermal conductivity to high thermal conductivity, low thermal resistance, aging resistance, low volatility, stable compression, and customized die-cutting. Carbon fiber thermal pads are becoming an important product direction in high-end thermal management materials due to their excellent thermal conductivity efficiency and structural adaptability.
