Electronics segment produces voltage stabilizers, ups and digital home ups and the products of Other segment includes solar water heaters, water level controller and windmill energy. V-Guard is one of the largest manufacturers of solar water heater in the country. The company holds 15% market share in the stabilizer sector and 8-9% market share in the electric water heater sector. V-Guards’s four major products- stabilizers, wires, pumps and water heaters, contribute around 80% of the revenue.
The manufacturing facilities of the company are located in Coimbatore districts of Tamil Nadu, Udhamsing Nagar district of Uttaranchal (facility located in Kashipur) and Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. Manufacturing capacity of Kashipur facility stood at 3,00,000 coils per month.
