Abstracts

Alcohol and tobacco are the two main factors that risk the health and cause many diseases and premature deaths of people. Many road accidents, homicides, suicides and injuries are reported because of alcohol. Alcohol and tobacco are the cause of adolescent mortality. the sale of alcohol and tobacco is not allowed in fact is illegal to sell to youngster below certain age limit in fact in some countries tobacco is not allowed to sell youngsters that are under 18. However, the tobacco companies and beer companies target youngsters to sell their products. They attract them with advertisements and attractive campaigns. By these tools these companies create an environment for the youngsters and teenagers in which use of these things are acceptable. The use of tobacco and alcohol is acceptable and legal for adults in many countries. However, the main target of the alcohol and tobacco companies aggressively run advertisements for youngsters. Both the companies attract youngsters to attract youngsters by using same strategies (Rohsenow, Monti, Colby, Gulliver, Sirota, Niaura, & Abrams, 1997). Cont... (1000 words of this report)
