Kuwait is a small country, which is located in the Middle East on the Persian Gulf. It is an intense hot country. The whole area has desert. It has very short winters and hot summers. The capital of Kuwait is Kuwait city. United Nations estimated the population of Kuwait in 2005 as 2,589,000. Kuwait is on number 136 in population among the 193 nations of the world. The population of Kuwait includes over one million non-nationals who live and work in the country. In the country, 45% are Kuwaiti’s, 35% are Arabs, 9% are south Asian, Iranians are 9% and rest of 7% are others. According to religion, 85% are Muslims and 15% are Christians, Hindu’s, and Parsi.
