All Hawkins pressure cookers are listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. USA, a non-profit institution testing products for public safety.
The company has three manufacturing facilities in India. They are located in Thane, Jaunpur and Hoshiarpur.
During FY11, the company’s sales volume increased by 12.5% and sales value increased by 17.6% in comparison with FY10.Production increased from 28lakh units to 31.4lakh units. The company has introduced one new model during FY11. During the first year itself, this model has achieved aggregate sales of 21,000units.
During FY11, there was an increase of ` 61mn in the cash and bank balance over the opening balance of ` 407mn. Cash and bank balance at the end of FY11 stood at ` 468mn.
