Civil law is a set of regulations that is compiled into a combination of the already available references and it has roots in the Roman law system. But the common law on the other hand has its own rules and standards that are followed and administered through the judges of the specific country and it is different for different cases. The legal framework and the system of the civil law are inspired by the English and Roman legal framework. For example the factors that are required to prove the crime of the murder are available in case law and then elaborated by statute. To make sure the flow of consistency, courts follow the precedents maintain by high court to investigate such problems. In the civil law system, in comparison to common law, codes and the statutes are available to provide all judgment but the judges have restricted role and historical judgment in it is not crucial.
