Its core function is to provide a continuous conductive network for lithium-ion battery electrodes, increasing the electron migration rate within the electrodes, thereby improving battery energy density, rate performance, and cycle life. The slurry can be optimized based on parameters such as CNT type, purity, diameter, specific surface area, and solid content to adapt to different lithium battery material systems (such as ternary materials and lithium iron phosphate), while also considering processability and the stability of coating/printing processes. In 2025, global shipments of Carbon Nanotube Paste for Li-ion Batteries reached approximately 512,100 tons, with an average price of about US$4,496.8 per ton.
