3,5-Dimethylphenol is an important fine chemical raw material with a white needle-like crystal appearance and a phenolic smell. Its molecular formula is C9H10O, molecular weight is 122.17, melting point is 64°C, boiling point (760mmHg) is 219.5°C. It can be uniformly mixed with alcohol, aldehyde, hydrocarbon, ether and other organic media, and it is slightly soluble in water.
