2,6-Dimethylnaphthalene (2,6-DMN), CAS 581-42-0, is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. It is one of the ten dimethylnaphthalene isomers, which are derived from naphthalene by the addition of two methyl groups.

Note: Currently, only BP Amoco can be commercially produced, and 2,6-Dimethylnaphthalene is only an intermediate, all used for the production of NDC. The data in this report is based on the conversion of NDC.
