Continuous Fiber Composites (CFC) are segregated based on fiber type, namely glass fiber, carbon fiber, and others. Each of the fiber types are further segregated based on their form structure. Some of the composites are woven fabrics, non-crimp fabrics, unidirectional fiber tapes, and non-woven mats. These continuous fiber composites offer various unique properties such as resistance to corrosion, excessive heat, and extreme temperature, while having high electrical & thermal conductivities, low density, high ductility & strength, lighter weight increased fuel economy, reduction in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, and longer service life thereby, reducing the cost of maintenance. The CFC market for aerospace industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.1% and 6.9% between 2018 and 2023 in terms of value and volume, respectively.

The report is a compilation of the different segments of the global CFC market, including market breakdown by fiber type, form, resin type, aircraft type, process, application, and geographical areas. Herein the revenue generated from the fiber types(carbon fiber, glass fiber, and others), form(woven fiber, non-crimp fabrics, non-woven mats, and unidirectional tapes), resin type(thermoset and thermoplastics), aircraft type(commercial and military), process( hand and spray layup, resin infusion process, compression molding, injection molding, continuous compression molding, automated fiber placement, automated tape laying, autoclave and others), application(primary structure, secondary structure, aircraft interior, and aircraft engine), and geographies(North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa, and South America) are tracked to calculate the overall market size, both in terms of value ($million) and volume (kilotons). While highlighting the key driving and restraining forces for this market, the report also provides a detailed summary of the global CFC market for aerospace industry. It also includes the key participants involved in the industry at the relevant sections.
