First Western is licensed as a small business lending company that originates loans through the Small Business Administrations (SBA) 7(a) Guaranteed Loan Program (SBA 7(a) Program). PMCIC and Western Financial are small business investment companies.
First Western originates, sells, and services small business loans. As a non-bank SBA 7(a) Program lender, First Western is able to originate loans on which a substantial portion of the loan is guaranteed as to payment of principal and interest by the SBA.
