The company principally operates through its two PRC subsidiaries include NOVO Envirotech (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. (NOVO Tianjin) and NOVO Envirotech (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. (NOVO Guangzhou).
The company provides their services on environmental consultancy and engineering to approximately 50 subsidiaries and branches within the China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) Group. The company provides both environmental engineering and environmental consultancy solutions to various customers in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, wastewater treatment, food & beverage and textile & dyestuff industries.
The companys two principal activities include - Environmental Engineering that engages in the design and implementation of integrated systems for engineering solutions, based mainly on its membrane technology, to address the specific needs of its customers, and; Environmental Consultancy that assists its customers to proactively identify their environmental health and safety (EHS) problems and set up a framework for EHS management.
In addition to the environmental engineering and consultancy businesses, the company has also acquired 2 wastewater treatment plants under the Transfer- Operate-Transfer scheme of arrangement during 2005.
