Charge cards is not a very strong category and has not established a position alongside debit and credit cards. In 2016 the number of cards continued to decline – by 3% to 239,000. Charge cards are not known very much amongst consumers and due to high penetration of personal credit cards, the commercial type is dominant amongst charge cards.
