Catella AB provides various financial products and services in Europe. It operates in three segments: Financial Advisory, Asset Management and Banking, and Investments. The Financial Advisory segment provides financial advisory services in the Nordic region with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for companies in consumer-oriented industries, such as retailing, and consumer goods and services. It offers property advisory services in 11 European countries. Further, this segment provides listed and unlisted companies with expert advice, principally in conjunction with the raising of capital and the divestment/acquisition of businesses; and assists in private placements, public issues, and underwriting guarantees for institutional and private investors. The Asset Management and Banking segment offers management of relative and absolute yielding funds for institutions, companies, and private investors; private banking services; and services, such as the establishment of companies in the desired jurisdiction and administration, and other related services in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Sweden. It designs, develops, and manages fund products; and provides tailor-made property investment solutions for institutional and private investors in European markets. In addition, this segment offers other banks with finished card programs within the framework of own licenses for Visa and Master-Card; issues credit and prepaid cards; and cooperates with payment service providers and engages in the clearing of international credit card transactions in relation to e-commerce companies. The Investments segment invests in long term investment products, which include financing ‘first loss’ positions of residential properties in Europe; short term investments, such as listed equities, options, and bonds; and short-term securitization portfolio. The company was formerly known as Scribona AB and changed its name to Catella AB in September 2010. Catella AB is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

IFE, EFE, IE Matrices

The Internal Factor Evaluation matrix (IFE matrix) is a strategic management tool helping audit or evaluate major weaknesses and strengths in a business’s functional areas.
