These cells achieve wide-temperature capability through optimized electrode materials, electrolyte formulations, separators, additives, cell structures and manufacturing processes. The product scope includes cylindrical, prismatic, pouch, button/coin and thin-film Li-ion cells based on chemistries such as NMC/NCA, LFP, LCO, LTO, silicon-anode-enhanced Li-ion and other modified rechargeable Li-ion systems. They are mainly used in industrial IoT, smart metering, telecommunications, special equipment, aerospace, defense, outdoor low-temperature devices, automotive electronics, energy storage backup and medical devices. In this report, the market scope is limited to cell-level products and excludes battery modules, PACKs, BMS, chargers and complete energy storage systems.
