Automotive Wheel Weight refers to a small balancing component installed on a vehicle wheel rim to correct the mass imbalance of the tire and wheel assembly during rotation. Automotive wheel weights are installed at specific positions on the rim after dynamic balancing measurement, helping the tire and wheel assembly rotate more smoothly and improving vehicle stability, comfort and tire service life.

From the raw material and industry chain perspective, automotive wheel weights are mainly made of steel, zinc alloy, lead, tin and other metal or non-lead materials, together with adhesive tape, clips, protective coatings, release film, plastic packaging and surface treatment materials. With stricter environmental regulations, lead-based wheel weights are gradually being replaced by steel, zinc and other environmentally friendly products in many regions.
