The Executive Summary is from CCM’s Specialised Control and Prevention of Pests and Diseases for Crops in China, the first edition finished in June 2016.

Large volume and unscientific utilisation of pesticides in China has led to many problems in agricultural production, food safety and environmental protection. To efficiently control pesticide consumption and guarantee safety in agricultural production, agricultural produce and environment, the Chinese government put forwarded various policies, among which, the specialised control and prevention of pests and diseases for crops turns out well.

Launched in 2008, the specialised control and prevention develops well and coverage rate of specialised control and prevention of pests and diseases for staple grain crops such as wheat, rice and corn increased to 33% as of the end of 2015.
