Animal husbandry has been developed from being a household sideline production to becoming the pillar industry in China's agriculture industry. On one hand, affected by the fast-grown chicken event and H7N9 influenza events in 2013, most of these companies did not perform very well. Prices of animal husbandry products were very unstable. On the other hand, owing to the industrialization, the increasing demand for animal products and the increasing yield of animal husbandry products year by year, the revenue of animal husbandry products kept growing.

To clearly describe China's animal husbandry industry, CCM has collected lots of information in various ways. In this report, it has been described by four parts, which is to discuss the development status and to predict the future development direction of animal husbandry industry.

In this report, animal husbandry industry has been analyzed exhaustively from these following aspects:
The revenue of animal husbandry companies will continue to grow in general and they will have broader prospects in the near future. On the whole, dairy companies will have a good prospect for development compared to other three company types.
- In March 2013, H7N9 began to break out, seriously influencing the entire animal husbandry production. Therefore, sales volume of animal husbandry products declined sharply.
- The rules for dairy product enterprises' production technology management were issued in July 2013, discussing the present situation of milk industry development and the safety requirements of the milk powder production.
- In 2013, the Chinese government standardized the use of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives, strictly cracking down on the use of banned agriculture veterinary drugs, such as clenbuterol, malachite green and other banned substances. This also further standardizes the meat-product processing industry.
- From 2012 to 2013, fast-grown chicken event had a huge impact in animal husbandry industry. Because consumers were insufficient in the knowledge of modern scientific development, many of them believed that it’s a violation of natural growth rate, resulting in a substantial reduction in consumption market
