By 2013 Dolomite Export Price May Exceed $43/tonn

Dolomite is a widespread mineral that is a major constituent of sedimentary carbonate rocks and dolomite limestone. They form primarily due to the magnesium-enriched salt water forcing on calcareous sediments.Today dolomite is used not solely in construction, but also in such sectors as metallurgy (for magnesium metal production), in glass industry (for glass thermal resistance development), in chemical industry. Moreover, they are a source of magnesium saline, that is widely applied in contemporary medicine.
However, it is most widely known as a trim/decorative stone that is attributed to the variety of its colours and shades and beautiful natural arrangement. That is why dolomite is frequently used for statues, columns, window sills, banisters, which adds a degree of sophistication and individuality to the modern interior.
