Dow: Price Increase for Polycarbonate, Compounds and Blends

In what might prove to be its last price hike of 2009, Dow Europe (Horgen / Switzerland; www.dow.com) has announced a price increase of EUR 150/t for its polycarbonate, polycarbonate compounds and polycarbonate blends. The hike, which comes into effect on 28 December, applies to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
The group said the increase was prompted by rising feedstock and raw material costs.
