LONDON – During 2007-2012, the number of high net worth individuals (HNWI) in Peru increased by 29%, outperforming the global HNWI average. In late 2012, there were more than 23,049 HNWIs in the country; and their combined wealth was evaluated at USD 111 billion. HNWI wealth and volumes are anticipated to exhibit substantial growth in the next four years. In 2017, the HNWIs numbers are likely to exceed 27,300, registering 14% growth during 2013-2017.
