Itautec S.A. Launches Two New All in One According to BAC Company Report

LONDON - Itautec announces the launch of two new models of computers All in One: the AT2022 and AL2022, the first products of this line developed exclusively for the corporate market. With focus on ergonomics, performance and connectivity, the devices were developed to meet the needs of security and space in the business environment.

According to Fabiano Takahashi, Director of Products and Engineering Itautec, the line combines high performance, robustness and versatility attributes that assist in optimizing day to day work of the companies: "Itautec anxious to contribute to business growth in Brazil and is focused on developing solutions attuned to the needs of the whole industrial chain and service providers, small and medium businesses, large corporations."

The equipment is available with Intel ® Core i3 or Intel Core i5, 20% faster than previous generations of Intel Core, which increases productivity and efficiency combined with 20% lower energy consumption. The models also feature up to 8GB of RAM and hard drive from 500GB. With a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, mouse and optional wireless keyboard, the new All In One has the option of operating system Windows 7, Librix (Linux Itautec), and in future Windows 8. Other features include network connectivity and Wireless, 6 USB ports (two USB 3.0 ports), supercharger technology, graphics controller Intel HD Graphics and Multi card reader. Starting price is U.S. $2199.00.

In 2011 Itautec was able to improve its margins. Revenue declined by 1.9% to BRL 1.54 B, gross profit increased by 2.4% to BRL 280.7 M, operating and net income added impressive 135% and 279.1%, respectively, and reached BRL 32.2 M and BRL 43.6 M. Last quarter brought revenue of BRL 362 M, gross profit of BRL 65.8 M, operating income of BRL 11.9 M, net income of BRL 12 M.
