Saudi Cable Company Signs a Contract with Kuwaiti Ministry of Water and Electricity According to BAC Company Report

LONDON – A contract worth SAR 325 M was signed between Saudi Cable Company and Kuwaiti ministry of water and electricity on April 18, 2012. Starting from that date SCC will have the 22-months-project on underground cable and fiber-optic cable installation in Kuwait completed. Revenues from the project will contribute to SCC recovery from losses undertaken in 2010.
FY 2011 has made a first step in this recovery: it brought revenue of SAR 3.2 B, gross profit of SAR 202.1 M, and returned both operating and net income from negative numbers to above-zero range. The former amounted to SAR 79.2 M, the latter equaled SAR 5.1 M.
SCC started their new financial year strongly. Revenue reached SAR 917.6 M, gross profit was SAR 95.3 M, operating and net income amounted SAR 56.3 M and SAR 25.2 M, respectively.
