LONDON – April 16-19 were marked by NAB Convention held in Las Vegas Convention Center. Belden was among the participants and presented new add-ups to its product portfolio. The novelties included: 7 new Telecast Fiber Systems; New AVB switch under Hirschmann brand; 4 new Brilliance Broadcast Cables; 2 new Connectors; 2 new tools – for compression and for BNC insertion/removal
Belden financials show stability during the last year, in opposition to annual results revealing serious problems caused by the crisis of 2008. December 2011 ended with revenue of USD 464.4 M, gross profit of USD 132 M, operating income of USD 34.9 M, and net income of USD 26.5 M. The financial year delivered growth trends: revenue added 22.6% and equaled USD 2 B, gross profit increased by 22.4% and reached USD 571.8 M, operating income was 44.7% higher with USD 187 M value, and net income amounted to USD 114.3 M (a 5.3% increase). Healthy end-market demand and timely restructuring activities kept Belden on positive trend.
